Step 1: Cleanse your whole face with Calming Cleanser.
Step 2: Start on the RIGHT side of your face, and use Glow Exfoliant in the morning and evening. Apply only to your acne and acne marks.
Step 3: Apply Hydrating Serum to your whole face. If your skin feels tight after applying Skinlycious Hydrating Serum, this means that your skin is dry. You will need to mix in or layer on Skinlycious Barrier Booster Moisturiser to achieve balance skin.
Step 4: Then on the LEFT side of your face, use Clarifying Serum in the morning and evening. Apply only to your acne and acne marks.

For Complete Starter Kit:
First 5 Days – Do the half-face test
Step 1: Cleanse your whole face with Calming Cleanser. If you are wearing makeup or sunscreen, double cleanse by cleansing with Soothing Cleansing Gel before Calming Cleanser
Step 2: Start on the RIGHT side of your face, and use Glow Exfoliant in the morning and evening. Apply only to your acne and acne marks.
Step 3: Apply Hydrating Serum to your whole face.
Step 4: Then on the LEFT side of your face, use Clarifying Serum in the morning and evening. Apply only to your acne and acne marks.
Step 5: Moisturise with Barrier Booster Moisturiser if only when your skin feels tight after applying Hydrating Serum. If a richer moisturiser is needed, mix in or layer on Skinlycious Balancing Facial Oil.
Step 6: In the morning only, use Multi Protection Mineral Sunscreen.

Note: If your acne is not on the left and right side of your face, test by using Glowing Exfoliant on the upper side of your face, then Clarifying Serum on the lower side.

4 Possible Outcomes after 5 days of Half-Face Test

After 5 days – If either or both Glow Exfoliant and Clarifying Serum are suitable, you may use them to apply on the blemishes on your entire face. For best results, continue using the products that showed positive effects for at least 2-3 months.

HOW TO USE

For the first 5 days, conduct the Half-face Test in the morning and evening:

Cleanse whole face with Calming Cleanser.
On the LEFT side of the face, use Glow Exfoliant on acne and post-acne marks only.
Apply Hydrating Serum to whole face.
On the RIGHT side of the face, use Clarifying Serum on acne and post-acne marks only.

NOTE:
• If your acne is not on the left and right side of your face, test by using Glow Exfoliant on the upper side of your face, then Clarifying Serum on the lower side.
• Moisturize with Skinlycious Barrier Booster Moisturizer if your skin feels tight after applying Skinlycious Hydrating Serum. If a richer moisturizer is needed, mix in or layer on Skinlycious Balancing Facial Oil.

After 5 days:
• If all products are suitable, use Steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the whole face morning and evening.

My skin is sensitive and breakout easily. Followed the instructions to test Glow Exfoliant and Clarifying Serum.
I literally can see my bumps flattening with Cl. Serum on my R side and the bumps became more inflamed with Glow Exf on my L side. After stopping Glow Exf. and using Cl.Serum, the redness and the pimples subsided.
No wonder I couldn’t clear my acne and some pdts break me out bad. Now, I know not to use acids. I’m hopeful that Cl. Serum can help clear my acne with longer usage.

Personally, I feel using Skinlycious Hydrating serum and mosituriser day and night plus Clarifying serum and alternate with Glow Exfoliant made my skin adhere to makeup better and skin has less bumps too.
Makeup adheres better, no need for too much powder and foundation. Other brands is not enough, my skin feels a bit taut and oily after makeup.

Q1. How long do I need to use before I can see results?
A1.Anti-acne products need time to work. Many of you will be able to see improvements in a few days. However, to achieve clear skin, a good estimate is 2-3 months. Some people might experience faster results but usually those are the milder cases. After 3 months, if you still do not see any improvement, it’s best you consult a doctor as you might need medication.

Q2. I have oily and acne skin. Why do I still need to apply hydrator/moisturiser?
A2. Most people suffering from oily and acne skin has dehydrated but oily skin. Our oil-free water-based hydrator will hydrate your skin without adding more oil to your skin. When your face is hydrated, this will in turn stimulate your skin to produce less oil, thus less clogged pores and in turn less acne.

Q3. Why are you using alcohol in Glow Exfoliant?
A3. Alcohol is needed to dissolve salicylic acid. We have tried other forms of salicylic acid to do away with alcohol but it gave Jasmine breakouts instead.

Q4. Why the need for the half face test?
A4. Because there are only few fixed ingredients that can be used in skin care for fighting acne. Its really important to find which ingredients suits you the best.
