1. Where are the products made?
Products are made in a certified Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) factory in Singapore. Rigorous lab testing and certifications have been done to ensure safety of our products. All acne and sunscreen products are notified with US FDA.
2. How fast will I receive my Calming Cleanser?
Just give us 1-2 working days to prepare your order once you have placed your order and another 1-2 working days for the courier to deliver.
Do note that we don’t work on weekends and on Malaysia’s Public Holidays.
3. Can Calming Cleanser remove makeup or sunscreen?
Calming Cleanser does not remove makeup or mineral sunscreens that thoroughly. Soothing Cleansing Gel is formulated to remove makeup and mineral sunscreen.
It’s always recommended to double cleanse in the evening even if you don’t wear makeup or sunscreen.

5. Does Calming Cleanser contains sulfates?
No, Calming Cleanser does not contain sulfates. We use a blend of surfactants derived from plants, which are more gentle on skin than sulfates.
6. Is it normal for Calming Cleanser not to foam?
Yes, it’s normal. We do not add foaming agents in our cleansers. Foaming agents tend to dry out the skin. Our cleansers cleanse effectively and gently without foam.
7. How was Calming Cleanser developed?
Calming Cleanser was first learnt from a dermatologist that helped our founder, Jasmine, clear her 14 years of acne. Over the years, Calming Cleanser has gone through a few rounds of formulation changes to suit different skin types, and has been co-developed from valuable feedback from fellow acne fighters.
According to Jasmine, our founder, cleansers are one of the hardest to formulate as many surfactants trigger increase sebum production on her skin. It took many trials and experimentation to find a blend of surfactants that cleanses well and doesn’t disturb her skin balance, allowing her skin to stay matte the whole day.
In one of the past formulation, we added in tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is suppose to help with acne skin but instead, a small percentage of our regulars who had no issues with our past versions started breaking out. It was then that we decided that Skinlycious would be Essential Oil free.
The current formulation is Free Of Sulfates, has No Essential Oil & is the best version that Skinlycious has ever produced.

What i found very helpful was to use this consistently in order to see results. Initially i only use this when my period was round the corner. For context im suffering from hormonal outbreak and had been battling this for years. While this cleanser is really effective it is costly so i tried to use sparingly. However this method did not work as i still suffer from acne. When i dropped all the other cleansers and only use this my skin cleared within a few weeks. While i still get that odd cystic acne the situation is a lot more manageable these days. Each time i wash my face i can feel the white heads hardened and removed. This alone is effective. My skin is sensitive and breakout easily. Followed the instructions to test Glow Exfoliant and Clarifying Serum.
I literally can see my bumps flattening with Cl. Serum on my R side and the bumps became more inflamed with Glow Exf on my L side. After stopping Glow Exf. and using Cl.Serum, the redness and the pimples subsided.
No wonder I couldn’t clear my acne and some pdts break me out bad. Now, I know not to use acids. I’m hopeful that Cl. Serum can help clear my acne with longer usage.
