For years, I couldn’t find a moisturiser that worked for my skin. Every cream either clogged my pores or irritated my barrier. By the time I was 20, years of harsh acne treatments had left my skin so dehydrated I had a deep forehead wrinkle. Not from age. From dryness.
At 23, my aesthetic doctor introduced me to a Sodium Hyaluronate serum, and the wrinkle gradually disappeared. When I started Skinlycious, I didn’t just replicate what worked for me — I improved it. With a Biomedical Science degree and a Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, I added ingredients specifically chosen to replenish the Natural Moisturising Factor that keeps skin hydrated and protected.
But when customers with drier skin told me the serum left them feeling tight, I went back to the science. I studied which oils support acne-prone skin without clogging pores, and ran a trial. How the System Works
Hydrating Serum
Your water layer. Replaces your toner.
Formulated with Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium PCA, and 15 amino acids to replenish your skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor. Oil-free. For most oily skin in Singapore’s humidity, this alone is enough as the sole moisturiser.
How to use
After cleansing, every morning and night. Always start here.
Barrier Booster Moisturiser
Adds oil. Seals moisture in. Supports the barrier.
Built with linoleic acid-rich oils (Grapeseed, Sunflower, Jojoba), plant-derived Squalane, and a skin-identical ceramide complex. Enough to relieve tightness without increasing congestion risk.
Layer or Mix
Apply on areas that feel tight after Hydrating Serum, or mix a pea-size amount together with Hydrating Serum before applying. Or layer over Hydrating Serum.
Balancing Facial Oil
More oil, when your skin asks for it.
The same linoleic acid-rich blend at a higher concentration. For cold climates, very dry days, or richer night-time nourishment. Add as much or as little as your skin actually needs.
Layer or Mix
Add 2–3 drops on top of moisturiser, or mix into Barrier Booster for a richer texture.
