How Soothing Cleansing Gel Was Developed
We call this the story of Irene. The first challenge was to find a surfactant that has good makeup removing power but yet doesn’t trigger increased sebum / oil production on our founder, Jasmine’s skin.
After many rounds of trial, Jasmine finally found a suitable surfactant. She then added plant extracts for anti-inflammatory and hydration benefits. This is version 7 (v7) of the soothing cleansing gel.
Jasmine sent out v7 to fellow acne fighters and Irene was one of them. Her skin barrier had been severely compromised after using harsh skincare.
Within 3 days of using v7, Irene feedback that her skin cleared up and could stay matte much longer. We did a v8 with a slight reduction in extracts concentration and got everyone to test again. Every other tester, including Jasmine, was cool with v8 except Irene. Irene’s face started oiling up again and pimples returned.
From Irene’s case, Jasmine learnt that acne could be caused by skin sensitivity and decided to launch v7 of Soothing Cleansing Gel in the hopes of helping others who has sensitive skin like Irene to solve their acne problem.
How To Use
For daily cleansing, massage over wet face and rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid direct contact with eyes.
For makeup removal, massage over wet face and wipe off gel and grime with damp cotton pad. Repeat until cotton pad stays clean.

Since my second born few years back, hormones changed my skin. As with many products, I was really skeptical about the brand. Started researching more with regards to their background, products and reviews. Took me a week plus before contacting an agent to find out more. If the agent hadn’t replied me and chatted for 40min, I wouldn’t have tried out these products.
No regrets at all. I do not have acne skin, but I had my concerns. About 2 months ago, my skin at the cheek area feels thinner, more sensitive and gets red easily. Getting sensitive to heat. Nothing I used lessen the redness. But, 3 days into the products and oh boy, was I surprised and wowed! Pimples and bumps that I had subsided and disappeared. Redness more or less gone too! My first time seeing results with a new product and am very very satisfied!

Note on the cleansing gel, it does work in removing makeup. Proof was when I tried applying micelles water thereafter to remove makeup traces and the cotton pad remains white. It feels like quality ingredient so I am willing to overlook the price. Haha. Thank you!

It’s my holy grail for my daily routine. I have super oily skin with oil coming out an hour or two after washing my face previously, sensitive red patches, dry but oily skin, big pimples with pus. The new cleansing gel is like a miracle to me. I have been using so many products from expensive brands to no brands skincare products but none of it work as amazing as this. It is so gentle on my face that it’s so squeaky clean after washing my face with it and yet it does not have the tight feeling at all. I have never feel so amazed before! It’s like a mini face spa with the nice smell that comes along with which makes me truly enjoy washing my face every time. It controls the oil, my face can stand matte for hours and I would only need to blot once a day to keep it fresh till the end of the day. It reduced my face redness and I realised acne starts to decrease in size every morning. I would urge people like me to try it out. Trust me, it’s worth every single cent you spend on this, truly a match in heaven together with the hydrating serum.

At first i did not know whether the new soothing cleansing gel is suitable for my skin so i requested for a mini of it.
For a person who does not wear any makeup i use this cleansing gel as a daily cleanser.
So far I realise not much new grown pimples which is a good thing but my skin is still oily. Probably need to try it longer to see more improvements on my skin.
This soothing cleansing gel is little pricey. I really hope skinlycious can consider having a good bundle deal with hydrating serum & glow exfoliant for acne battlers.

Though I still get the occasional little zits, perhaps it’s because I still do not have a proper cleanser/gel to thoroughly remove the sunscreen since this soothing cleansing gel was still in the pipelines last month.
