Our Hydrating Serum is an oil-free moisturiser that adds water into the skin. That’s usually enough as the sole moisturiser for oily skin types.
However, if you find some areas feeling tight and dry, you need to layer on Barrier Booster Moisturiser or you can try applying Barrier Booster Moisturiser to your whole face. Barrier Booster Moisturiser contains a little oil and other moisturising ingredients and that will help to provide more moisturise.
If you apply Barrier Booster Moisturiser on whole face and find that your pores are more enlarged than usual, then it’s too oily for you. What you can do is to pump a little of it into hydrating serum, mix and apply together. Jasmine, our founder, does that. She adds about 3 grain size of moisturiser into hydrating serum and apply together.
If you still feel tight and dry after applying barrier booster moisturiser, you can layer on Balancing Facial Oil. If you apply Balancing Facial Oil on whole face and find that your pores are more enlarged than usual, then it’s too oily for you. What you can do is to drop a one to two drops of Balancing Facial Oil into Barrier Booster Moisturiser, mix and apply together.
